She replaces John Kennedy, who will become a portfolio manager. Mr. Kennedy will work closely with Ms. Joyce to ensure a seamless transition, a spokesman confirmed in an email.
Ms. Joyce will oversee the firm’s U.S. real estate equity assets, join the firm’s U.S. real estate senior leadership team, and serve on the U.S. private equity investment committee. She will be based in Boston and report to John Ockerbloom, co-head of U.S. real estate.
Ms. Joyce was a managing director and head of asset management and separate accounts at AEW Capital Management. A spokesman for AEW could not be immediately reached for additional information.
