Two Maui Rotary clubs took home top honors during the Rotary International 2021 District 5000 Conference, which was held virtually in May.
The Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui was named Medium Club of the Year and the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset was named Large Club of the Year.
Rotary District 5000 includes all 53 Rotary clubs in Hawaii. Ten of those clubs are located on Maui and Lanai. Over the past year, Rotary clubs met virtually via Zoom. Most of the Maui clubs are now moving toward in-person or hybrid meetings this summer.
